Pain. This seems to be another interesting topic. In my mind, pain is something to be felt in different situations for there are many types and versions of pain. Therefore there is no real definition in my opinion. To me, in a general situation, I feel that pain is a stress of the heart to where it becomes mentally wounding to think. Life is full of pain and hurt. It is only normal to live that way but why must we? As human beings, we have control over how we act but do we truly have control over how we feel? Most of the time yes but when it can come to love or anger, we have no control.
Most people think that pain makes you stronger. In my mind, it really doesn't. I only does worse for you. It puts mental stress and leaves painful mental scars that may never heal. It can lead to major problems and some people may end up still struggling again some pain that they acquired when they were younger, physically or mentally. I have had my fare share of pain, mentally and physically but why does the universe continue to pitch us more of it? Shouldn't there be a limit to every person on how much pain they have to go through in their short life? That sounds like Karma but there is no real concrete system to it. Karma only states that if you do good, good will become of you but there are many good people that have had horrible things happen and more continues to. Lots of people have regret and remorse but doesn't pain feel that way too if it were a living being? Wouldn't there be some sort of internal pain of wrong doing?
There are many ways of relieving one's mental pain. Although, if one cannot, they just increase another's. Pain can be self inflicted, gradually inflicted, or inflicted by others. The worst pain is all of those combined into one major life questioning era known as depression. Next week I may be writing more on depression but now, how does pain always lead to that? There is not really one way for one to become depressed. Pain certainly does that to a person but can't it be forced upon their shoulders by another? Another can forcefully or mentally inflict depression on another due to their inability to manage it themselves. Thus is truly sad because of how many more people would fall victim to sadness ans therefore pain.
Many people think of pain as being a bad thing but now it can be a good think as well as bad. I do want to focus on the good of things. Pain is essential after someone comes out of grief. In the process of grief, one must go through many stages, including pain. Once grief has been overcome, the pain has gone away and one may move on.
This is my definition of pain and what may become of it when it effects you. Next post I shall be writing about the world of lies and what types of masks we wear.
Meaning of life:
ReplyDelete1. We are on this earth to enjoy ourselves, thats why we are not in hell
2. We are on this earth to suffer, thats why we are not in heaven
So far, In my short time on this earth, this is what I have come up with.
Take your pick.
